Ralph Bernard

Ralph is the Vice President of Private Equity Executive Search at Janou Pakter. He has been with the firm since March of 2014. Ralph’s clients include: private equity, consumer products, fashion/retail, design, media, and health/wellness/beauty. Ralph has over twenty years of experience in the executive search business. He started his search career in 1996 at A-L Associates, a boutique executive search firm in Manhattan where he was a Vice President in the Strategic Planning practice. Ralph specialized there in placing senior strategy consultants from top consulting firms such as McKinsey and Co., Bain Consulting, Booz Allen, and Boston Consulting Group into senior executive roles with Fortune 500 companies, Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Private Equity. He then moved on to Korn Ferry where he was instrumental in building the NY office for the newly formed Futurestep brand. Ralph was the #1 producer in North America for Futurestep.

Ralph has become well known in the industry for working very closely with his client’s leadership to understand their short, medium and long-term goals, their company culture specifics, and the unique challenges they face in order to advise them very specifically and strategically on how to approach talent acquisition at the executive level as well as how to build the teams below them once the C Suite is in place.

Ralph was born and raised in northern New Jersey where he and his wife currently reside. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he rowed Division 1 Crew.
